SaveInsta is built around the idea that an Instagram Downloader should not turn its own users into a product. We do not store the Instagram URLs you submit, we do not host the Instagram media we display, and we do not have a SaveInsta account system that ties activity to your identity.
You can use SaveInsta fully anonymously, every visit, without ever telling us who you are.
SaveInsta processes the Instagram URL you submit through the search bar to fetch publicly available Instagram content. That input is processed in flight on our server and is not written to any persistent database.
Like any web service, our servers and CDN provider log basic technical metadata for each request: timestamp, IP address, user-agent string, and the URL path. This is standard and is used only for abuse prevention, rate limiting, error monitoring, and security auditing. These logs rotate out automatically.
We do not use third-party analytics that profile individual users. We do not run advertising trackers, fingerprinters, or cross-site cookies tied to your identity.
When you submit an Instagram URL, SaveInsta makes an anonymous server-side request to publicly available Instagram endpoints and the resolver service. The response is parsed and rendered in your browser. We do not store the videos, photos, or profile data we display — every item is fetched fresh on demand and discarded when the request finishes.
Connections between your browser and SaveInsta are end-to-end SSL encrypted.
SaveInsta uses no tracking cookies. We do not set marketing cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies tied to your identity.
SaveInsta is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has interacted with SaveInsta in a way that requires our attention, please contact us at privacy@saveinsta.dev.
Because SaveInsta does not maintain user accounts or persistent personal profiles, the practical scope of access / deletion requests is narrow: any rotating server log entries that may have been associated with your IP for a brief window. You can email privacy@saveinsta.dev with a request and we will respond within applicable legal timelines.
SaveInsta is hosted on standard cloud infrastructure. Those providers may process technical metadata to operate their networks. They do not have access to anything we would call personal data because we do not collect personal data.
SaveInsta is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. All Instagram media displayed through SaveInsta belongs to its original creators, fetched live from Instagram's public endpoints, and discarded the moment it reaches your browser.
If we update this policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for a period of time after publication.
